I recently watched the third installment in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie series, Dog Days. I was excited to see this movie because I had read the books and enjoyed them. The movie follows Greg Heffley as he goes through the summer before eighth grade. He experiences the typical summer activities such as going to the beach, having a family vacation, and playing video games. He also experiences some more unique situations such as having to work at his dad’s country club and dealing with a bully. I thought this movie was a great addition to the series. It was funny, entertaining, and had a good message. The acting was great, and the characters were all likable. The movie also did a great job of showing the struggles of being a middle schooler and the importance of family. Overall, I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of the books or just looking for a good family movie. It was a great movie and I would definitely watch it again.
